Biography:

Oceans and sandcastles. His earliest memories were of trips to the beach. Running, splashing, playing, he alternated what he wanted to do with each visit. However, no matter what he did, he always tried building. Most often, they were sandcastles. With sandcastles, they fell apart just by one sweep of a tidal wave. But he would keep trying, thinking he only needed to be smarter or bigger the next time, so he would be able to build a castle strong enough to withstand any wave. If he tried enough, he would be rewarded. It was a form of encouragement he remembered his aunt telling him.

Adults seemed invincible to his impressionable five year old mind. Adults could break rules and define them; they could create worlds and break them. To Myungsoo, nothing was more terrifying than realising the answers he knew were wrong. Black was not quite black, and white was never actually white.

And somewhere between his parents' divorce, he felt the meaning of being responsible. Even the children are inevitably split, as is such the case during divorce settlements. Half his father's, half his mother's. Between him and his brother, Myungsoo leaves the home with his father to live with the grand relations in Jeju. This particular move upsets the singular sunshine in his mostly ordinary life. His childhood crush. The separation mars his social life, grinding it to a haltingly slow crawl. It's not difficult when Jeju isn't as bustling with liveliness as Seoul.

Through letters and many other correspondences later, Myungsoo enrolls into Yonsei to study Architecture, something his hands already knew how to do intuitively, and he's been there since. During his time in AGR, he frequently finds himself helping the fraternity officers, from paperwork to organising events, and has been nicknamed 'Secretary Soo' as a result.
